Your wedding ceremony in front of our historic Jufen Chapel, surrounded by the impressive mountains, creates a magical setting for your vows. At 1,150 meters above sea level, you can celebrate your love in complete freedom and ease undisturbed throughout the entire Jufenalm grounds.
Every season lends your exclusive wedding in Austria a unique atmosphere, from the first warm days of spring to blooming alpine meadows in summer, the crisp expanses of autumn, and the serene winter landscape. Since no other guests will disturb your moments, your time in the mountains will become an experience that stays with you for a lifetime.

Your wedding day is a day full of meaning. That makes it all the more important to choose a venue that reflects your life, your love, and your values. That’s why we offer a variety of options around our chapel and throughout the Jufenalm grounds to help you create a wedding in the mountains that feels just right.
You can celebrate your symbolic wedding ceremony in various locations on-site. Our favorite spot is the Jufen Chapel, which holds up to 16 people inside the chapel itself. In addition, your ceremony can take place around the chapel amidst our mountain backdrop, offering plenty of space for personalization. As a stylish indoor alternative, our Mindful Nest comfortably accommodates up to 90 people. From classic white seating to rustic setups with hay bales, almost anything is possible. When you marry in the mountains, deep emotions and small gestures are always at the heart of it all. We will work with you to plan every detail of the ceremony.

Protestant wedding ceremonies can take place directly with us at Jufenalm at any time. Catholic ceremonies are also possible on-site by arrangement between the bridal couple, the parish office in Maria Alm, and the Archdiocese of Salzburg—gladly also together with your own priest, so you can tie the knot not only in front of your loved ones but also in an incomparable atmosphere. Alternatively, church ceremonies are also possible in our beautiful pilgrimage church in Maria Alm, the smaller church in Hinterthal, or the Gerling church in Saalfelden.

For civil wedding ceremonies, there are wonderful options around Jufenalm—such as the Saalfelden registry office, Ritzensee Castle, or Samerstall in Leogang, each only about a 15 to 20-minute drive away. This allows you to combine the official part quite relaxedly with your celebration in the mountains. An advance civil ceremony in your hometown is, of course, also possible. Either way, the unforgettable highlight of your wedding will remain the ceremony right here with us at Jufenalm.

Food and drinks are an integral part of your wedding at the Jufenalm, seamlessly accompanying your entire stay rather than just being a single event. From the initial get-together on the eve of the wedding, to the reception and festive dinner, through to a relaxed breakfast the next morning, we create a culinary experience that brings people together without ever feeling intrusive.
The first evening begins with a warm welcome and a relaxed dinner. On the wedding day itself, you can look forward to a reception with finger food, a festive dinner, the subsequent party, and a midnight snack. The following day concludes peacefully with breakfast, brunch, and some time in the spa.

Personal support, a tasting dinner for 4 people, and planning assistance. From our initial conversations to the specific details of your stay, we accompany you with experience, calm, and a keen eye for what truly matters.
We are also happy to help you connect with selected partners for floral arrangements, decoration, cakes, and other details, ensuring your wedding gets the exact atmosphere it deserves, both organizationally and aesthetically.
Personal Support
Private access to all areas, including the Cloud Nine Spa. With the “Blue Heaven” infinity pool, saunas, relaxation areas, and quiet retreats, the Jufenalm becomes not only the venue for your wedding but also a place for those quieter moments in between.
Combined with the absolute seclusion, nature, and mountain views, this creates what makes a stay here so special: time that doesn't feel scheduled, but like truly arriving. Spa access is available until 3:00 PM on the day of departure.
Cloud Nine Spa
A curated selection of drinks is included with your wedding to complement the culinary concept of the Jufenalm and keep the weekend seamlessly coordinated. This includes soft drinks, water, beer, house wines, house sparkling wines, selected cocktails, and hot beverages.
Vintage wines, champagne, and spirits are billed separately based on consumption. This keeps the basic concept clear and generous, while special requests can be added individually as desired.
Drinks & Service
Rooms are available from 3:00 PM on your arrival day, and we kindly ask you to check out by 11:30 AM on your day of departure. Your stay ends on a relaxed note: the spa area can be used until 3:00 PM.
Until 12:00 PM, the Jufenalm, including the restaurant, is reserved exclusively for your wedding party. This ensures you still have space for shared moments, one last gathering, and a harmonious end to your celebration on the day you leave.
Arrive & Stay
The exclusive use of the entire Jufenalm in complete seclusion sets the stage for your wedding—whether for the whole weekend or during the week upon request. During this time, the entire property belongs exclusively to you and your wedding guests, with all the rooms, retreats, and atmospheres that define the Jufenalm.
No outside guests, no shared areas, and no overlapping with regular hotel operations. Instead, you get a place that feels entirely your own—quiet, private, and full of opportunities to experience your wedding at your own pace.
All to Yourself
The Jufenalm brings together everything that makes a wedding special in one place—from the ceremony to the late-night celebration. With the historic Jufen chapel, the Mindful Nest, and other areas around the property, you'll find spaces that feel completely unique yet wonderfully connected.
This includes the use of the agreed wedding locations as well as a basic setup for the ceremony with benches, electricity, and a sound system. Basic technical equipment on site is also included. The result is a celebration driven not by traveling between locations, but by a seamless flow in one truly special place.
Ceremony & Celebration
Our rooms are generally designed for double occupancy. Multiple occupancy is possible in selected rooms upon request. Decoration is not included in the package. However, we are happy to help you find suitable florists, nurseries, and decoration partners. Lunch is not included on the wedding day. However, our à la carte restaurant with a lunch menu is open as usual at midday.
Please Note
Civil ceremonies are not possible directly at the Jufenalm. However, there are lovely options nearby, such as the Saalfelden registry office, Ritzensee Castle, or the Samerstall in Leogang. Many couples choose to have their civil ceremony in a smaller setting beforehand, allowing the wedding weekend at the Jufenalm to focus entirely on the symbolic or church ceremony and celebrating together.
Where can the civil ceremony take place?
Since the Jufenalm is exclusively reserved for your wedding weekend, all 38 rooms and suites are already part of the overall concept. Therefore, there is no classic individual booking of rooms by your guests through a separate allotment. We will coordinate with you later on which guests are accommodated in which rooms.
How does the room booking work?
Despite its peaceful and secluded location, the Jufenalm is easily accessible. The access road is paved and suitable for larger vehicles as well. Ample parking is available directly on-site for your guests. It is precisely this combination of absolute tranquility and easy accessibility that makes the Jufenalm such a special place for an exclusive wedding weekend in the mountains.
How do I get to Jufenalm?
Since this is an exclusively reserved wedding weekend, the entire Jufenalm is booked for your group. Last-minute changes by individual guests therefore do not alter the base price of the weekend. For added peace of mind, we recommend taking out suitable cancellation insurance. We would be happy to discuss useful options with you in person.
What happens if guests have to cancel at short notice?
Even in bad weather, Jufenalm offers harmonious alternatives for your ceremony, reception, and celebration. Depending on the schedule and number of guests, various indoor areas are available, ensuring your wedding weekend maintains a special atmosphere regardless of the weather. We always discuss which solution best fits your wedding individually during the planning process.
What happens in bad weather?
The culinary arrangements for your weekend will be provided by Jufenalm. For wedding cakes and selected additional elements, we are happy to collaborate with suitable partners and recommend reliable providers from our network upon request. This ensures the overall concept remains cohesive and tailored to your wishes.
What about the wedding cake and further details?
If the Jufenalm concept appeals to you, we look forward to receiving your inquiry via the landing page. In the next step, we will get to know each other either during an on-site visit or via a video call. If it's a good match for both sides, you will then receive the contract documents. Afterward, we will start planning the details of your weekend together.
How does the inquiry process work?
Our wedding concept includes exclusive use of the entire Jufenalm from Friday to Sunday, two overnight stays for your wedding party, culinary arrangements for the entire weekend, access to all areas including the spa, and personal support from our team. We deliberately no longer offer various wedding packages or add-on modules, but rather a clear concept with a fixed framework.

Yes. Symbolic ceremonies are possible directly at Jufenalm—around our historic Jufen chapel, on the plateau, or in other areas with mountain views. A church wedding in our chapel is also possible upon consultation with the Maria Alm parish office and the Archdiocese of Salzburg. We always coordinate the exact details individually with you.
Is a wedding ceremony possible directly at Jufenalm?
For your wedding weekend, the entire Jufenalm and all 38 rooms and suites are exclusively at your disposal. A total of up to 78–80 guests can stay overnight with us and spend the weekend together at Jufenalm. Depending on the schedule of the ceremony and celebration, additional guests can also be included during the day for onsite symbolic ceremonies. However, the focus of our concept is deliberately on an exclusive weekend with a clear, private group.
How many guests can join the celebration and stay at the Jufenalm?
Yes, of course. Our kitchen is happy to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or lactose-free requests. During the detailed planning phase, we will coordinate all relevant information with you so that your guests can fully enjoy the culinary experience.
