Calm, earthy colors, natural materials, and carefully selected boho-design elements define our style and serve as the foundation for our new concept, alongside our existing alpine "Originals" rooms and suites.
For us, "Bohemian Spirit" means freedom, ease, and a cosmopolitan outlook—values that we also want to live and work by as a family.
We are convinced that these very values shape this fantastic place where we live. And we firmly believe that a hotel should reflect the beauty of its surroundings. Magnificent views and precious tranquility, a sense of freedom and grounding await right outside our door. True to the "Bohemian Spirit," this is precisely what we want to be experienced and felt here.

Creative visions and a drive to create fuel Bernhard's thoughts and actions. Fortunately, his hands-on craftsmanship is always close at hand. Whether in management, the kitchen, or maintenance, he is always ready to pitch in and turn ideas into reality—whether for a major planned renovation or spontaneous day-to-day tasks.
With his motivating and engaging manner, he wins over both staff and guests, making nothing seem impossible. Without him, the Jufenalm certainly wouldn't be the place it is today.
Benjamin is responsible for the hotel's marketing and keeps a clear focus on the future. With his creative and eloquent nature, he successfully communicates the beauty of Jufenalm to the outside world and always brings out the best in people and possibilities.
His openness and curiosity constantly inspire him with new ideas for where Jufenalm could head in the future. He knows exactly how to get others on board with his ideas, stands firmly by his convictions, and believes that long-standing structures sometimes need to be broken down to make room for new paths and extraordinary experiences.
Kimberly is the free spirit of the family. She stands out with her impeccable taste and plays a key role in shaping the hotel and restaurant's design with great attention to detail and a strong sense of style. She ensures a cohesive aesthetic in all the finer things, drives innovative ideas forward with ambition, and often brings clarity to organizational matters.
The boho lifestyle reflects her own personality—in the new concept, she can express her creativity and bring a breath of fresh air to the Jufenalm, winning everyone over with her structure and foresight for both small gestures and the bigger picture.
Findus is not just a cat—he is the secret ruler of the Jufenalm. Whether proudly prowling the hallways or dozing comfortably in the sun, he goes his own way day in and day out. Guests love having him around, petting him, or simply watching him observe the world. Findus is part of the family—with a mind of his own, plenty of charm, and a special talent: he always knows where it's coziest. Stefanie is the good soul of the Jufenalm. Having known every corner of the house since childhood, she has always been passionately and warmly involved in the daily operations between the kitchen and hospitality. Today, as part of the management team, her primary focus is the well-being of the staff and guests. She lives for the Jufenalm, holds everything together behind the scenes, and ensures smooth processes in both the back office and daily operations.
She brings calm and balance to the often bustling hotel and family life, is guaranteed to have the perfect solution for every challenge, big or small, and is always ready to lend a hand wherever needed. Ultimately, everyone at the Jufenalm should feel good—and when the family and guests are happy, she is happy too!
Places and people shape who we are. They give us a sense of who we are, who we can become, and what is possible in life. The story of our family and the Jufenalm began in 1936, when our great-grandfather purchased the land along with the alpine pasture. What started out very small has, over the years and across generations, gradually become what it is today. Stefanie was born up here at the Jufen before growing up at her father’s Brimbach Hof in Maria Alm. Nevertheless, from childhood onward, she spent every vacation at the Jufenalm, balancing restaurant work and country life with Uncle Louis and Godmother Rosa, today’s senior managers.
By the age of 14, she had already decided to stay up here permanently. Because dedication brings people together, and she managed to complete her high school diploma while juggling the daily demands of the restaurant. Stefanie recognized the potential of the place even back then, and although innovations always take time to catch on, she was often able to assert her vision and blaze innovative trails on a small scale. It was clear to her early on that she would carry on the family business, for she has always known every aspect of the operation and lives for the Jufenalm. In Bernhard, she found a husband who committed himself fully to the business. Together, they decided to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the Jufenalm’s secluded location at 1,150 meters and to once again create a place that inspires as a home and, above all, as a hotel and restaurant—a place that gives strength and to which people are always happy to return! Meanwhile, Benjamin and Kimberly are also fully involved in the business and are ensuring a clear direction for the future.
