Nestled in the idyllic mountains of Salzburg Land, Jufenalm offers not only peace and relaxation, but also exciting winter experiences. Our hotel's own 2.5 km toboggan run starts right at Jufenalm and leads through snow-covered landscapes to the edge of Maria Alm. Beautifully illuminated in the evening, it promises tobogganing fun for the whole family. After the fast-paced descent, our toboggan tractor will comfortably take you back up to the Alm upon request, so nothing stands in the way of your next adventure. Experience winter at Hochkönig at its finest—with perfectly groomed slopes, untouched powder snow slopes, and pure snow fun. Our hotel's own ski shuttle takes you directly to the Hochkönig ski resort, where 120 kilometers of slopes and the legendary Königstour await you. Whether skiing or snowboarding, beginner or pro—everyone finds their track here. And after an eventful day? Back to Jufenalm, where a crackling fireplace, alpine coziness, and regional delicacies await you. Feel the magic of winter, breathe in the fresh mountain air—and enjoy your ski break at Jufenalm.

Discover this relaxing winter sport that takes you through deep snow-covered forests, past breathtaking views of the Salzburg Alps to rustic ski huts. You are welcome to rent snowshoes at our reception upon prior reservation. A daily rate of €20 applies. Registration by 6:00 PM the day before. You can find tried-and-tested routes in our bucket list.

A particular favorite spot of ours is the hotel's own wildlife enclosure: Enjoy the view and admire majestic red deer and mouflons set against the unique expanse of the winter landscape. In our newly built stable, alpacas, wallabies, goats, and donkeys also delight animal lovers and younger guests. They complete the authentic flair of Jufenalm and make every winter vacation at Jufenalm just a little bit more unforgettable.

From the late afternoon, you can warm up at our mulled wine hut with hot mulled wine, fragrant punch, and winter almonds. Wrapped in warm blankets, you can enjoy the cozy atmosphere surrounded by a sea of fairy lights, while the crackling campfire provides comforting warmth. A place to arrive, linger, and enjoy—under a starry sky amidst the snowy mountain world.
Our mulled wine hut is open daily until January 6, 2026, during the Christmas season. Upon request and reservation, visits are also gladly possible earlier—for unforgettable winter moments at Jufenalm.

Experience exclusive yoga specials at Jufenalm—from gentle Chill & Relax Yoga to dynamic Power & Spirit Yoga, we offer inspiring sessions for beginners and advanced practitioners. Depending on the weather, our yoga sessions in the mountains take place either on the viewing platform with panoramic views or in The Mindful Nest sanctuary.
New with us: Sunrise Yoga—every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:15 AM to 9:15 AM. Start your day with energy and mindfulness. Participation is included in the room price; please register at the reception by 6:00 PM the day before at the latest.
