What is the best way to get to the hotel?
In both summer and winter, you can reach Jufenalm directly via a paved road. Due to its secluded location at 1,150 meters, all-wheel drive or suitable snow chains are necessary in winter.

From Saalfelden train station, take line 260 (summer) or 620 (winter) towards Maria Alm. The "Maria Alm Zentrum" stop is the closest bus stop.

The nearest airports are Salzburg (approx. 75 km) and Munich (approx. 185 km). From there, we are happy to organize a taxi for you (not included) or you can continue your journey to Saalfelden by train.

The Blue Heaven infinity pool is heated to 34 °C year-round. Children are welcome in the pool area and the The Golden Lake family relaxation room from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saunas and steam baths are for adults only. Massages and treatments can be booked daily under Massages.
Is the Jufenalm located directly at the ski slope?
The hotel is not located directly at a ski slope; the nearest lift is 5 minutes away. We offer an inclusive daily ski shuttle for our hotel guests.
Can I rent sports equipment at the Jufenalm?
In winter, we offer free toboggans and snowshoes with poles for a fee. In summer, our 3D archery course and rental equipment are available for a fee.
Where can I find the nearest ski rental and does the hotel have its own ski storage?
You can find the nearest ski rental in Hintermoos. Feel free to ask our reception for more information, or contact us by phone. The ski storage room for our guests is heated and secure.
Is breakfast included in the price?
What are the breakfast times?
Yes, our prices include a generous breakfast buffet, which is served daily from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Does the hotel offer a guest card?
With the Hochkönig Card, you can experience the perfect mountain vacation with many highlights and regional attractions included. Furthermore, Hochkönig Card holders enjoy attractive discounts on selected experiences in the surrounding area.
What activities are available near the hotel?

Our à la carte restaurant is open all day. We reserve a table here every evening for our hotel guests. Additionally, the hotel features an in-house bar exclusively for our guests.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is always from 3:00 PM (if your room happens to be ready earlier, we will gladly contact you). Check-out is by 10:30 AM.
Are there rooms with multiple sleeping areas at the hotel?
Yes. Freigeist Plus offers two separate sleeping areas. The Himmelnah rooms 403, 405, and 407 also feature a cozy sleeping alcove.
