Tobogganing is an essential part of winter in Maria Alm am Hochkönig. Jufenalm's private toboggan run stretches for about 2.5 kilometers from the hotel down to the valley. The toboggan run in Maria Alm winds through snowy meadows and forests, offering just as much beauty by day as it does in the evening on the illuminated track—peaceful, wintry, and full of atmosphere.

Due to limited capacity, reservations are required for the shuttle. Please send your request in advance to info@jufenalm.at . As a hotel guest, you can easily book the shuttle at reception.

Toboggans can be rented directly on-site at any time—no reservation is required. However, for groups of 15 or more people, we kindly ask you to let us know in advance by email at info@jufenalm.at so that we can arrange enough toboggans for you.

All about the toboggan run
After your ride down, we can take you back to the Jufenalm by Ski-Doo or toboggan tractor upon request. In the afternoon, rides are available between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM upon request. In the evening, the toboggan tractor runs (except Mondays and Wednesdays) at 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, and 8:00 PM. Advance booking by phone is required.

Our hotel's own toboggan run in Maria Alm starts right at the Jufenalm and ends in the valley. The 2.5-kilometer track is ideal for families, couples, and anyone who wants to enjoy the winter outdoors. Tobogganing in the evening, when the track is illuminated, is particularly popular.
